My "Gay Icons"

I aspire to be as funny as a female comedian.
I recently read Tina Fey's "Bossypants", Ellen DeGeneres' "Seriously...I'm Kidding", and Mindy Kaling's "Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?".

And these women are just phenomenal. If I had to list my gay icons, it would just be a huge list of female comedians. And I'm pretty sure if I wasn't gay, I'd still want to be like them.

And I love how Mindy Kaling AND Tina Fey mention Amy Poehler in their books. Amy Poehler is like...just...UGH, SHE'S SO WONDERFUL.

Guys are funny too. If I could be as funny and wonderful as Will Ferrell and Steve Carell, then I would audition for every role EVER.

But yeah, even though female comedians stray from the "stereotypical gay icon" agenda, I would just like to say:
I will one day be as great as Beyonce.

-crossing my fingers-

Anyways, I rewatched The Hangover today. When it came out, people always talked about how funny it was, but I didn't think it was that funny; sooooo, I decided maybe a second viewing would change that.
Not really :( I mean, I love EVERY one of the guys, but I don't see why people thought it was THAT funny. (However, I am very glad that Ken Jeong is paving the way for future Korean comedians, and also for people named Ken; while not exactly my name, it is practically the same thing)

Which leads me to my next female comedian point:
Bridesmaids was marketed as the female version of The Hangover.
Umm, HWAT? (Yes, HWAT. As in, rhymes with cat.)
Bridesmaids is HYSTERICAL. Like, not even being biased here. (YES I'M BEING BIASED HERE, DID YOU NOT JUST READ THE FIRST HALF OF THE POST?)
Just, UGH. I LOVE BRIDESMAIDS. AND I LOVE FEMALE COMEDIANS.

I'm gonna play some Wii Sports because I have gained muchos poundos over these past few weeks.
LOOKING FORWARD TO 2012, AM I RIGHT? AM I RIGHT?
